Job Prospects With A Public Policy Degree?

Hello! I'm currently a second-year political science major who was planning on law school but I'm trying to come up with a backup plan in case that doesn't work out considering how saturated the legal field is. The programs at John Glenn seem interesting to me but also seem to have more of a technical bent to them, which I was hoping means they have better job outcomes than political science would. How hard is it to find employment with a decent salary (50k?) after college if I were to get a bachelor of science in public policy analysis, for example? How would the outcomes compare to getting a degree in economics from Arts and Sciences (the other option I'm contemplating)?
