Mechanical Engineering, Can I get in with my GPA?

Hi, guys, so I really want to get into the mechanical engineering program, and I applied to it this fall. Unfortunately, my EPHR GPA is not as good as I had hoped it would be, being 3.46. I won't be notified if I was accepted or not until January 6th, and the suspense is killing me. Which leads to my question -- does anyone know if I have a decent chance of getting in or not? Also, I don't know if it's relevant or not, but I'm a transfer student so I'm further along in the sequence then most students are when they apply. This semester, I completed courses such as Statics, University Physics 2, and Engineering Statistics (3450). I don't know if because I'm further along, if this will at all be taken into consideration. Would really appreciate your input on this, Thanks!
